  • Facilitate contact between buyers and sellers via the seller's personal email address

  • Process payments securely via Stripe

  • Send service-related notifications and updates

  • Improve and develop the App

5. How We Store Your Information

Your data is stored securely using Google Firebase, which provides industry-standard encryption and security measures. Firebase servers may be located outside of Australia. By using Pad, you consent to your information being stored and processed in accordance with Google's data handling practices (firebase.google.com/support/privacy).

Photos you upload are stored in Firebase Cloud Storage. We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as required by law. When you delete your account, we will take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify your personal information unless we are required by law to retain it.

6. Sharing Your Information

We do not sell your personal information to any third party. We may share your information with:

  • Other users — your listing details and contact email are visible to users of the App so buyers can contact you directly. Only share contact details you are comfortable making visible.

  • Stripe — for secure payment processing (stripe.com/privacy)

  • Google Firebase — for data storage and authentication (firebase.google.com/support/privacy)

  • Law enforcement or government bodies — where required or authorised by law

Where we share your information with third parties, we take reasonable steps to ensure those parties handle your information in accordance with applicable privacy laws.

Pad is available to users worldwide. If you access Pad from outside Australia, please be aware that your information may be transferred to and stored in Australia or other countries where data protection laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction.
